Nature
Nature Word Search Puzzles
Outdoor vocabulary sits well on a letter grid because many of the words are concrete: oak, hail, ridge, mulch, frost. Trees and Leaves keeps the list on an Easy 12 × 12 so short names such as oak and pine still have room without crowding. Weather Words moves to Medium; lightning is nine letters and benefits from diagonal runs. Mountains and Rivers is Hard, with waterfall and glacier sharing a landscape theme and reverse placement allowed. Garden Vocabulary stays Medium and sticks to tools and plant parts you can point to in a bed. Seasons of the Year returns to Easy and includes calendar markers such as equinox and solstice without turning the puzzle into an astronomy lecture.
These lists overlap a little with the default generator example—cloud, breeze, forest—so a visitor who already tried the homepage workshop will recognize the tone. Print a weather sheet for a rainy afternoon, or load garden words into the custom maker if you want to add the name of a vegetable you actually grow. Mountains and Rivers is the set to open when you want reverse paths; Trees and Leaves is the set to print when you want a short Easy finish.

Nature puzzle questions
Why does Mountains and Rivers use Hard?
Several landform names are long. Hard opens all eight directions so those paths can fit a 15 × 15 without dropping words.
Is harvest listed twice across sets?
Garden Vocabulary and Seasons of the Year both include harvest because the word belongs in both places. Each puzzle still has unique normalized entries inside its own list.
Can I print without the answer key?
Yes. Open Print, leave Include answer key unchecked, and print only the worksheet.
